ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – A proposal to the state budget aims to make the flu vaccine for accessible for children, regardless of the parent’s ability to pay.

The legislation would allow pharmacists to administer flu vaccines to children ages two to 18.

It would permanently suspend the section of the State Education Law that limits the authority of pharmacists to administer immunizing agents to anyone under the age of 18.
