ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Thousands of Girl Scouts across Northeastern New York will begin the sale of their cookies.

All of your favorite flavors are returning like Thin Mints, Samoas, Tagalongs, and Trefoils.

Some local girl scouts stopped by the NEWS10 ABC studio on Tuesday to kick off the 2018 cookie season.

For more than 100 years, Girl Scouts have used cookie earnings to create programming to build girl leaders who will make positive changes in the world.

Proceeds will benefit local troops’ community service projects.
