Lawsuit filed against group for allegedly hiding records on promotional ads

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – The group Reclaim New York has filed a lawsuit against Empire State Development for allegedly hiding records on more than $200 million in taxpayer-funded promotional ads.

The lawsuit states that ESD violated the Freedom of Information law.

Now, Reclaim New York wants to obtain the public records and see how ESD spent $246 million in advertising initiatives.
