BRUNSWICK, N.Y. (NEWS10) – New York State Police arrested two people they say had drugs inside their vehicle during a traffic stop on Route 7.
Police say they searched the vehicle after smelling an odor of marijuana on the driver 24-year-old Terrance Inman and 25-year-old Taran Buie.
After searching the vehicle, they found several plastic baggies containing less than 25 grams of marijuana, approximately 1.9 grams of cocaine, and other items indicating the possible sale of narcotics.
Inman was charged with DWAI-Drugs, two counts of fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia, unlawful possession of marijuana, and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.
Buie was charged with two counts of fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia.
Both subjects were arraigned and remanded to Rensselaer County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail or $5,000 bond.
