One person rescued from early morning fire in Troy

TROY, NY (NEWS10) – One person was rescued from a fire in Troy early Sunday morning.

The fire department said while coming back from a call three firefighters saw smoke and fire in a building on 5th Avenue. Crews arrived to heavy fire on the second floor.

One person was pulled from the house and they were treated at the scene for smoke inhalation.

The first floor was evacuated. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
