Mechanicville man arrested on weapons charge after allegedly threatening to shoot cops

MECHANICVILLE, N.Y. (NEWS10) – A man has been arrested after police said he threatened to shoot responding officers with a shotgun.

Mechanicville police said when officers arrived at Justin Pariseau’s residence on South Main Street, he came out and threw a handgun on the ground.

Police said the 25-year-old refused to surrender, which lead to officers subduing him and arresting him. While searching the house, police found a loaded shotgun.

Pariseau was charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon.
