LIVINGSTON, N.Y. (NEWS10) – New York State Police say their annual open house and toy drive was a tremendous success over the weekend.
A number of toys including stuffed animals, dolls, race cars, games, and sporting equipment. County Waste employees also donated 16 bicycles with safety helmets.
“The generosity and spirit of good will among the communities we serve never ceases to amaze me,” said Captain Michael Jankowiak, Zone 1 Commander. “We are literally running out of room for donations, but will continue to accept donations through December 16.”
All of the donations will be shared for distribution with community organizations including domestic violence services, social services, and Toys-for-Tots.
