Assembly democrats returning to State Capitol

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — This week in Albany, assembly democrats will return to the State Capitol amid talk of a special session.

The assembly’s democratic majority will gather in Albany on Monday. This is a meeting that comes as top lawmakers and democratic Governor Cuomo discuss convening a special session focused on a legislative pay raise.

Anti-hunger advocates will hold a forum Tuesday where they’re likely to talk about their next steps following Cuomo’s veto of a bill that gives farmers a tax credit for food donations to food banks.
