Siena College investigating report of sexual assault

LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Siena College is investigating a report of sexual assault.

Siena’s Public Relations say the assault happened on Sunday, Nov. 21, however the college was notified of the report on Monday, Nov. 28. The college has notified the Colonie Police Department of the report as well.

Reports indicate the complainant knew the individual accused of the assault, and that the incident occurred in on-campus housing.

Siena College says under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, they cannot comment on the details of an investigation.
