COLONIE, N.Y. (NEWS10) – A blood drive will be held on Saturday at Colonie High School in Niko Dinovo’s name.

Dinovo is the 16-year-old who received burns over 95 percent of his body after the car he was riding in slammed into the Blessings Tavern in October.

Since then, the community has come together and held events and fundraisers to help Dinovo and his family.

The blood drive will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
