WASHINGTON (CNN) – Some computer scientists are urging Hillary Clinton’s campaign to ask for a recount in three key states.
According to a source familiar with the request, the scientists say the recount should include Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan.
They say it’s strange that Clinton received seven-percent fewer votes in counties that use electronic voting machines.
The scientists say the machines could have been manipulated or hacked, even though they haven’t seen any evidence of that.
They still believe the pattern is significant enough to require an independent review.
The scientists presented their findings to Clinton’s top aides last Thursday, who have not commented yet.
