ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – A man gets sentenced to almost four years in prison for possessing a single bullet on Monday.

In June, the U.S. Department of Justice says Tyron Jackson, 28, of Rensselaer, N.Y., admitted to possessing the bullet during a September 2015 traffic stop conducted by the Niskayuna Police Department on Albany Street in Schenectady.

Jackson, a felon, is not legally able to possess the bullet.

The judge cited his criminal history during sentencing including a 2006 conviction for first-degree robbery and a May 2016 conviction for unlawful possession of a firearm.
