GUILDERLAND, N.Y. (NEWS10) – A Watervliet woman has been arrested for allegedly taking pictures and videos of a physically disabled person in her care.
According to police, Dayna Vizoyan, 36, was working as a home health aide for a physically disabled Guilderland resident. Police said she took pictures and videos of the client while they were being cared for and unclothed. The client was unaware of Vizoyan’s alleged actions.
Vizoyan then sent the pictures and videos to acquaintances of hers, police said. She was employed through a business called 24/7 Aide Service out of Schenectady.
Vizoyan was charged with one count of Unlawful Surveillance in the Second Degree, one count of Dissemination of an Unlawful Surveillance Image in the First Degree, and one count of Endangering the Welfare of an Incompetent or Physically Disabled Person in the First Degree.
She was released on $25,000 bail. An order of protection was issued for the victim.
