Driver attempts to flee police, crashes on I-90

EAST GREENBUSH, N.Y (NEWS10) — An unlicensed driver led police on a chase before losing control of the vehicle and crashing into the woods on I-90 near Exit 9.

Police say they arrested two people early Saturday morning after the driver attempted to flee the cops.

The driver went onto I-90 and lost control of the vehicle, causing him to hit the guard rail and crash into the woods.

Police found that the driver, Richard Cutler, 37, did not have a license. After further investigation, they found Cutler and his passenger, Cassandra Pough, 27, were accused of stealing a TV from Walmart Friday night.

Both were charged with petit larceny conspiracy. Cutler was also charged with multiple vehicle and traffic violations and remanded to Rensselaer County Jail.
