TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – The results of New York’s dedication to the craft brewing industry are already pouring into the Capital Region.
The Beer Diviner, New York’s first farm brewery, is set to open a new tasting room and farmer’s market in downtown Troy Friday afternoon.
Food & Wine Magazine rated the Beer Diviner as their top nano-brewery of 2016.
The new Troy location continues to build the connection between their rural Rensselaer brewery with New York’s Capital Region.
The folks at The Beer Diviner buy barley and grains from local farmers, and pick hops right outside their own front door in Rensselaer.
The new taproom and market will be the Beer Diviner’s second location in Rensselaer County. The other is located in Petersburgh.
The formal grand opening was held Friday afternoon at 461 Broadway in Troy.
