Police: Local man shouts ‘America!’ while firing shotgun on election day

LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Colonie Police arrested a man they say fired a round from his shotgun on election day.

The incident happened at around 6:30 p.m.

Police say Corey Edward, 57, shouted “America!” while firing the gun in his front yard on Shaker Drive.

He is then accused of leaving the shotgun in a children’s playhouse in the rear yard of his neighbor’s yard.

Edward was arrested and charged with 2nd-degree reckless endangerment.
