TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Three men, who fled the Capital Region after a double murder in October, are set to be extradited back to New York to face charges.
Police arrested Luis Monje Guevara, Magdaleno Perez-Calixto, and Salomon Najera-Hernandez in Virginia. On Thursday, they all waived extradition and could be back in Rensselaer County as early as next week.
They are accused in the deaths of 23-year-old Javier Gomez and his cousin, 24-year-old Christian Gonzalez Hernandez. Both were found dead in Rensselaer County in October.
A fourth suspect remains in custody in Rensselaer County Jail.
