WASHINGTON (NEWS10) – President-elect Donald Trump seems to be reversing his position on repealing Obamacare.

The Wall Street Journal reports that after meeting with President Obama, Trump is open to keeping parts of the Affordable Care Act.

Trump favors keeping the prohibition against insurers denying coverage because of pre-existing conditions and allowing parents to provide additional coverage for children on their insurance policies.

Repeatedly on the campaign trail, Trump called for the repeal and replacement of the controversial healthcare law. Trump’s transition website still calls for the repeal and replacement of Obamacare.

President Obama signed the Affordable Care Act in March 2010.
