ROTTERDAM, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Rotterdam police are expanding their surveillance camera program. The program launched back in January and police say they’ve been vital in keeping the community safe.
The cameras help police collect information related to accidents and crimes in the community.
Stewart’s Shop is helping out with the project. They’ve bought and installed a new camera at another intersection in the town.
A spokesperson for Stewart’s Shops said they’re committed to strengthening communities and they support the Rotterdam Police Department in helping keep neighborhoods safe.
