Man pleads guilty in machete attack

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A man accused in a violent machete attack has pleaded guilty.

James Sherman, 23, admitted to getting into a fight with people on Myrtle Avenue in Albany back in March, and attacking one of the men with the machete.

The victim lost a finger in the attack and his shoulder was seriously injured. Sherman faces ten years in prison when sentenced in January.
