HUDSON, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Two people were arrested in a sex abuse case who allegedly had cameras all over their apartment, police said.
Jason Davis is charged with Rape in the Second Degree. He and his girlfriend, Ciera Patrick, are both charged with Possessing a Sexual Performance by a Child.
The couple allegedly also had a makeshift recording studio set up in parts of the home. Officers said when they entered the North Second Street apartment, they knew there was a lot of evidence to collect.
“Computers, numerous computers,” Sheriff Edward Moore said. “Every room in the house was wired or just about every room with a camera. Some were hidden cameras, so we knew we had to collect a lot of evidence.”
“Nearly every room, including the bathroom, had a camera in it,” he added. “The victim in this case is now 14 years old. We are continuing to develop information. Our detectives and officers worked 24 hours straight on this and will see this through the prosecution.”
Davis and Patrick are both in jail. They are expected in court Thursday morning.
More charges are expected.
