ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – The community continues to rally around a local teen that was seriously hurt in a fiery crash in October.
Niko Dinovo was the passenger in the car that slammed into Blessings Tavern in Colonie. He continues to fight for his life at Westchester Medical Center Burn Unit.
He suffered burns over 95 percent of his body.
On Wednesday, people showed their support by heading to Flight Trampoline Park in Albany for a night of fun where some proceeds will go toward Dinovo’s medical bills.
“We love you, Niko, and thank you to everyone,” his aunt Jennifer Setford said. “We can’t express our gratitude enough and just continue to pray for Niko and stay Niko Strong.”
