Teen accused in fiery crash released

COLONIE, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Michael Carr, the teenager charged with driving under the influence, crashing into a restaurant and badly injuring his passenger, has been released.

Carr, 18, is accused of crashing into Blessings Tavern in Colonie, sparking a massive fire.

Nico Dinovo, 16, a passenger in the vehicle, was badly burned in that crash and is being treated at Westchester burn unit.

Carr, who is charged with vehicular assault, among other charges, has been released under the supervision of probation.
