NEW LEBANON, N.Y. (NEWS10) — State police say they have arrested a man from Maine for drug possession, following a traffic stop.
On Tuesday afternoon, police stopped Andrew Evensen, 25, of Poland, Maine, on State Route 20 for not wearing a seat belt.
An investigation led to finding approximately 20 grams of marijuana, .8 grams of marijuana wax, approximately 21.4 grams of hashish, 8.3 grams of MDMA, and 1.5 ounces of marijuana salve.
Evensen was charged with multiple counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, and two counts of unlawful possession of marijuana.
Evensen was arraigned and remanded to Columbia County Jail.
