Man arrested on drug trafficking charges pleads guilty

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – An Albany County man who was arrested in 2015 on federal drug trafficking and money laundering charges has pleaded guilty.

Jeremy Van Wormer is accused of running a marijuana trafficking operation out of his home.

He pleaded guilty to conspiracy to possess a controlled substance, and 4 counts of conspiracy to launder money.

Wormer faces 10 years to life in prison when sentenced. He could also be ordered to pay millions of dollars in fines.
