GREENWICH, N.Y. (NEWS10) – It’s been 9 years since 12-year-old Jaliek Rainwalker disappeared from his adoptive grandparent’s home in Greenwich back in 2007.
At the time, his adoptive father, Stephen Kerr, told police he had spent the night with Jaliek and woke up the next morning to find a goodbye note.
The day he was reported missing, jaliek was scheduled to be returned to a foster family, his adoptive parents citing behavior and violence issues.
Police ruled out running away or suicide after an extensive search and what investigators call “inconsistencies” in Kerr’s story.
Several reported sightings of Jaliek never panned out and the case has grown cold.
Anyone with information is advised to call Cambridge-Greenwich Police.
