DELMAR, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Halloween is a time when people young and old look forward to getting in on some spooky, fun times.
On Monday, preschoolers got the chance to show off their costumes at the annual Halloween Parade at the Bethlehem Library. The trick-or-treat event winds its way throughout the library.
The event takes place twice at 10 a.m. and again at 1:30 p.m.
“It’s a really safe place for people to bring their young children,” Kathy Brenner with the library said. “Kids on the street get cold, and they get tired, so it gives them a safe place to experience an early Halloween. We have very tiny babies. They look adorable. We have the older preschoolers who lead the way.”
The kids also got to enjoy some crafts and movie shorts before heading to the main event.
