ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Comic book lovers of all ages came out on Sunday for the Albany Comic Con.
The event was held at the Raddison Hotel on Wolf Road. It showcased comic books and collectibles of all shapes and sizes.
Some even dressed up as their favorite comic book character, but the event isn’t only about the comics, some see it as a sense of community that brings people with a common interest together.
“It’s really fun to be around people who you can really call your own,” said attendee, Derek Applegate. “I usually work in business so it is nice to be somewhere where I can let my hair down.”
No matter who your favorite superhero or villain is, there was something for every comic book lover to enjoy.
