ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Two people from Schenectady, N.Y., were arrested after being accused of possessing more than nine ounces of crack-cocaine and other drugs.
On Wednesday evening, state police stopped a vehicle on I-87 for traffic violations.
The driver, Lisa Gonzalez, 40, and the passenger, Tracy Thompson, 49, both of Schenectady, N.Y., were found to be in possession of more than nine ounces of crack-cocaine, marijuana, and numerous illegal pills.
Gonzalez was charged with four counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, including intent to sell, unlawful possession of marijuana, and multiple vehicle and traffic violations.
Thompson was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Gonzalez and Thompson were both arraigned and remanded to Albany County Jail without bail.
