Colonie man sentenced to 26 years in prison on three counts of rape

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — District Attorney David Soares announces Wednesday that Jeffrey Flower, 41, of Colonie was sentenced to 26 years in State Prison for raping one teen girl and attempting to spy on another in the shower.

Flower was also sentenced to 15 years of Post Release Supervision following his time in prison.

On September 1, Flower was found guilty of two counts of First-Degree Rape, one count of Third-Degree Rape, and two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

According to documents, over the course of three years from 2012 to 2015, Flower engaged in forcible sexual intercourse with a female individual who was known to him, some instances occurring before the victim was 17 years old.

In an unrelated incident, officials say Flower also attempted to see a 13-year-old victim that he knew, naked in the shower.
