Albany man faces multiple Robbery charges after alleged crimes around city

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – A local man was charged in connection with three bank robberies and a robbery at a convenience store in Albany.

Police said 56-year-old Douglass Moore, of Albany, robbed the Citizens Bank on Washington Avenue on October 24, and Variety Store on October 10 on Quail Street where he allegedly hit the clerk over the head with a baseball bat.

Police said they also connected Moore to the robberies at the First Niagara Bank on State Street and the M&T Bank also on State Street.

He was charged with four counts of Robbery in the First Degree and one count of Robbery in the Second Degree.
