ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Nations across the world came together in the Capital Region on Sunday.
The 45th annual ‘Festival of Nations’ was held on Sunday at the Empire State Plaza. The event featured culture, dance, and food from all over the world.
“This is the easiest way you can have a glimpse of the world in five hours for only $5 but, the main thing is that how we can work together,” said Festival of Nations Chairman, Manoj Ajmera. “We have different thinking children, don’t know but, they can appreciate other people.”
“The Festival of Nations has been around for 45 years and Armenia was the second nation to start it so, we want to carry on those traditions,” said Rafi, representing Armenia. “We want to instill those in our young kids.”
Seventeen countries participated in the crowning ceremony for ‘Miss Festival of Nations.’
