ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Halloween is right around the corner, and some very special kids came out on Saturday to get in the spooky spirit.
Southwest Airlines hosted their 7th annual Halloween party for wish kids from Make-A-Wish Northeast New York.
The event was held in an airplane hanger at Albany International Airport, and featured face-painting, bounce houses, a Halloween parade, clowns, and a magic show.
“We want to provide a traditional Halloween party for children that are not able to go out into the community and trick-or-treat, or might be invited to a Halloween party, we want to provide something that is completely secluded for them and dedicated to them and to their disabilities,” said Station Administrator for Southwest Airlines, Tina Opalka.
About 150 children came out to the event.
