10 sinks show elevated lead levels at South Colonie Central School District

COLONIE, N.Y. (NEWS10) – High levels of lead were found in ten sinks in another local school district.

The lead was found during testing at schools in the South Colonie Central School District.

The ten sources all came back between 0.18 and 0.27 milligrams per liter.

The state recently announced that all schools would be required to test their water sources by the end of this month to make sure that they’re at or below 0.15 milligrams per liter.
