EASTON, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Police identified the man killed in an industrial accident at the Fort Miller Company on Tuesday.
Daniel Ingram, 45, of Argyle, was injured when police say a heavy product he was moving fell on top of him. Co-workers were able to lift the heavy object off Ingram.
He was transported to a Saratoga hospital where was pronounced dead. An autopsy was conducted and determined the cause of death to be the result of blunt force trauma to the chest and abdomen.
The sheriff’s office and OSHA are currently investigating the incident.
Police say the incident appears to be an industrial accident.
