GLENS FALLS, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Donald Trump’s now infamous comments regarding sexually assaulting women is having a ripple effect in the Capital Region.
People picketed outside Republican Congresswoman Elise Stefanik’s office in Glens Falls on Thursday. They demanded she denounce Trump after publicly supporting him.
There weren’t just protestors there. Trump supporters also showed up.
“I am very dismayed by this election and about the republican candidate for president,” picketer Judith Tully said. “He is just what republicans should not have put up as their nominee.”
“I still support Trump,” Devin Pratt said. “And I think that everything that this personal information in these videos and that are emerging are more than just propaganda.”
Stefanik said over the weekend that Trump’s comments are offensive and wrong, and she hoped his apology is sincere.
