SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A man convicted of striking two pedestrians with his car last year was sentenced on Wednesday.
Adimu Goodwin will spend the next 10 to 15 years behind bars for assault, manslaughter, and leaving the scene of the incident.
Goodwin was found guilty of driving without a valid license, striking 61-year-old Donald Shaffer as he crossed State Street, and then later struck 29-year-old Jerry Faine near Waldorf Place.
Shaffer died from his injuries.
