Two years since quadruple homicide in Guilderland

GUILDERLAND, N.Y. (NEWS10) — This weekend marks two years since the murder of a family of four in their Guilderland home, and there have still been no arrests.

On October 8, 2014, the bodies of Jin Chen, his wife, Hai Yan Li, and their sons, 10-year-old Anthony, and 7-year-old Eddy, were found inside their Western Avenue home.

Police would not say how the family was killed or any theories as to why, but sources close to the case did however confirm that Chen had been in deep debt and that evidence of gambling and possible human trafficking were found inside the home.

Since the murders, the house was sold and then put back on the market once again.

Neighbors tell NEWS10 they believe it is once again being occupied.
