WILTON, N.Y. (NEWS10) – According to State troopers, two individuals were arrested on Wednesday for larceny and possessing methamphetamine.
Around 5:30 p.m., troopers say they responded to a report of possible larceny at Walmart in Wilton.
When they arrived, the two individuals were seen fleeing the store on foot. Troopers say there was a brief struggle when they caught up to the subjects.
Manuel Banuelos III, 34, and Brittany Carpenter, 28, both of Glens Falls, were found in possession of stolen items as well as a quantity of methamphetamine.
They were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest and petit larceny.
Both were arraigned and remanded to Saratoga County Jail.
