Police: Ulster Co. traffic stop leads to arrest of Schenectady man with drug charges

LLOYD, N.Y. (NEWS10) — New York State Police at Highland, N.Y., say they arrested a man from Schenectady for possessing over five grams of a hallucinogenic substance.

Troopers say they stopped a vehicle on Saturday for speeding in the Town of Lloyd.

After searching the vehicle, they found Kashim Gaskin, 29, to be in possession of 5.5 grams of the hallucinogenic substance, MDMA/Molly, with the intent to sell.

Gaskin was arraigned and remanded to Ulster County jail.
