Police: Three individuals arrested on multiple drug charges

COBLESKILL, N.Y. (NEWS10) — State police arrested three individuals, including a fugitive from justice, on multiple drug charges.

Police say the individuals were stopped after the vehicle passed a red signal on Main Street.

They smelled an odor of marijuana inside of the vehicle and after searching, found approximately six grams of marijuana, five envelopes of heroin, and marijuana pipes.

Police say one of the passengers, Tyrell Godwin, 27, of South Hampton, was found to be a fugitive from justice with an active arrest warrant from Florida for the Felony of Grand Theft.

Godwin was taken into custody to be extradited to Florida and was additionally charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Michelle Fleming, 21, of Bay Shore, and the other passenger in the vehicle Aliyah Johnson, 18, of Bay Shore, were charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and issued appearance tickets to appear in court.
