Drug raid nets 70 pounds of marijuana

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Police found more than 70 pounds of marijuana during a search of a home on Strong Street in Schenectady Thursday night.

Police say with the help of Illinois State Police, police executed a search warrant on the home. In addition to the marijuana, police say they found $5,000 in cash and a loaded Essex Arms Corp .45 caliber pistol.

The street value of the marijuana is about $500,000.

The following individuals have been charged:

Mark Dicarlo, 26, was charged with 2nd degree criminal possession of a weapon, 1st degree criminal possession of marijuana, and 3rd degree criminal possession of a weapon (previously convicted of a crime).

Miyona Fields, 24, was charged with obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest.

A 16-year-old girl was charged 2nd degree criminal possession of a weapon (loaded firearm) and 1st degree criminal possession of marijuana.

Natash Dicarlo, 35, was charged with 2nd degree criminal possession of a weapon, 1st degree criminal possession of marijuana, 3rd degree criminal possession of a weapon (previously convicted of a crime).

Tonia Decuir, 48, was charged with 2nd degree criminal possession of a weapon, 1st degree criminal possession of marijuana, and 3rd degree criminal possession of a weapon (previously convicted of a crime).
