TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – The Sage Colleges welcomed the crew and cast of the low-budget feature film, “Derailed.”
The story is about a woman who survives a train derailment that causes her to lose her memory and her hunt to track the mystery of her former self.
Director David Jackson says that after a short time on campus, they decided to change the story to happen in the Albany-Troy area and make the lead character a professor at Russell Sage.
“We are using the college name and we love it here. This college has been great for us and super cooperative and just gorgeous,” Jackson said.
The film stars Hannah Barefoot and Thomas Beaudoin. The crew will be filming throughout the Capital Region for the next two weeks.
