MAINE, N.Y. (NEWS10) – New York State Police charged a woman they say overdosed with her 2-year-old child inside the vehicle.
Jacqueline Laszewski, 38, of Apalachin, N.Y., was accused of driving around while she was impaired by drugs on Thursday. Police say the arrest occurred after a trooper responded to the report of a woman possibly suffering from an overdose inside a stopped car on Nanticoke Road in Maine.
Laszewski was treated for an overdose of heroin and was transported to the Binghamton General Hospital.
She was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated with a passenger less than 16 years old, endangering the welfare of a child, and operating a motor vehicle while ability impaired by drugs.
