CDTA goes pink for Breast Cancer awareness month


ALBANY, NY (NEWS10) – October is Breast Cancer awareness month and to help fight Breast Cancer, CDTA is partnering with the American Cancer Society to spread awareness of the Making Strides Breast Cancer walk.

CDTA is using the Busplus buses in a special way to catch your attention.

During the month of October, CDTA will turn one seat pink on each of its Busplus buses as a way to bring attention to Breast Cancer. This bus features a pink cloth seat with words of encouragement and the iconic pink ribbon printed on the fabric.

In addition to the pink seat, a pink hashtag will display a Breast Cancer fact and information about the upcoming Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk on October 16th in Albany’s Washington Park.

Later Monday morning around 1030, there will be a Breast Cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers here to share their stories and encourage those battling Breast Cancer.
