Gloversville Police arrest two people accused of trafficking drugs

GLOVERSVILLE, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Gloversville Police arrested two people they say were trafficking drugs into the city.

Police say they found drugs after stopping John Lewis, 50, and Riccie Willman, 44, after they exited a vehicle.

Lewis was accused of having crack cocaine and Willman was accused of possessing Suboxone.

After obtaining a search warrant, police say they found an additional quantity of crack cocaine, also packaged for sale.

Lewis was charged with 5th degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, 3rd degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and 1st degree aggravated unlicensed operation. Willman was charged with 3rd degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Both were arraigned in Gloversville City Court.

Lewis was remanded without bail after having three previous felony convictions. Willman was remanded on $20,000 cash and $40,000 bond.

Police say additional charges are possible.
