Thousands of people will hit the streets Tuesday for National Voter Registration Day

(NEWS10) – Today, volunteers, celebrities, and organizations from all over the country will “hit the streets” for National Voter Registration Day.

The single day of coordinated field efforts is aimed at getting the thousands of unregistered voters eligible to have their opinions heard come election time in November.

It’s all about making it easier than ever for you to vote.

Online sites like put you just a few clicks away from being an active member of the Democratic process. You can browse by state on their site to find out everything you need to know and actually enter your information to get registered with just a few key strokes.

If you’re not into the digital age, there are registration booths set up all over the Capital Region.

The League of Women Voters have set up 12 spots in Saratoga County where you can go get set up and have any questions that you have answered on the spot.

You can also go to the DMV website or your local DMV to register.

There a lot of options. Find out which one works best for you.

The most important thing is just get registered because it’s your right, you have a voice. It’s your choice if you use it.
