New arts and sciences wing unveiled at CBA

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Christian Brothers Academy celebrated the opening of the latest addition to the school on Tuesday.

A brand new arts and science wing was opened at CBA after raising $3.8 million towards the campaign. The new center was named the Mary and Michael Ozimek Arts and Science Wing after son Joseph Ozimek, who contributed $1 million to the construction of the wing.

“I’ve always thought that I’ve been very lucky to have attended CBA,” Ozimek said. “Very lucky to have had a good education, very lucky to have had two parents who cared for me, took care of me and made sure I succeeded in life. But luck is not serendipitous. You have a lot to do with how you make your own luck.”

The wing houses a music suite, an engineering lab, and four new classrooms.
