GLENS FALLS, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Keep your eyes on the sky Thursday evening for balloons up in the Adirondack Mountains.
The 44th annual Adirondack Balloon Festival kicks off on Thursday and runs until Sunday.
The four-day event is the oldest and largest not-for-profit balloon event on the East Coast.
Over the four days, attendance can exceed 150,000 spectators, weather permitting.
The event kicks off on Thursday at 4 p.m. at Crandall Park in Glens Falls.
Events continue through the weekend at Floyd Bennett Memorial Airport.
