SCHODACK, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Police arrested a man for possession of drugs after police saw his passenger wasn’t wearing a seat belt.
Police stopped the vehicle in the Town of North Greenbush.
The occupants then admitted to injecting heroin.
A search revealed the drugs and found the driver, Daniel Brannock, to be impaired as well as having a suspended license.
Brannock, 29, did not pass the administered Standard Field Sobriety tests and was evaluated by a Drug Recognition Expert.
He was arrested for driving while ability impaired by drugs, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Brannock is scheduled to appear in the Town of North Greenbush court on September 27.
